Student Pick Up & Drop Off
Beginning October 26, 2026, Wabash Middle/High School will follow new procedures for parking, student drop-off, student pick-up, and visitor entry. These changes improve traffic flow and keep students safer on campus. Please review the details and map below.

No Through Traffic, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There is no through traffic on campus from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Barriers separate the student parking lot from the north drop-off and pick-up lot. Barriers also separate that lot from the staff and visitor lot. Each area has its own street entrance, and drivers must enter and exit from that street.
Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Families may drop off and pick up students in two locations only:
-
South Building Circle Drive, entered from Miami Street. Use the outside lane only. The inside lane is reserved for staff parking.
-
North Parking Lot, the lot directly north of the North Building, entered from Harrison Avenue. Follow the route around the edge of the lot.
Please do not drop off or pick up students in any other lot or drive, or along the street.
Door 10: Visitors, Late Arrivals, and Early Dismissals
All visitors must park in the lot directly east of the North Building and enter through Door 10, located at the southwest corner of that lot. Parents and guardians dropping off a student after school starts, or picking up a student before dismissal, must also use Door 10. Enter and exit this lot from Miami Street.
Student Parking
Student drivers must park in the lot directly south of the football field. This lot is accessible only from Alber Street. Students may not park in any other lot on campus.
Staff Parking
Staff may park in three areas only:
-
The lot directly east of the North Building, shared with visitors
-
The inside lane of the South Building Circle Drive
-
The service lot directly south of the North Building
Building Names
School communications will use these building names going forward:
-
North Building: formerly known as the middle school
-
South Building: formerly known as the high school
Thank you for your patience while everyone adjusts to the new routes. Please allow extra time during the first few days. If you have questions, contact the main office at 260-563-4131.
