Wabash Early College High School
In 2015, Wabash High School was endorsed by the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) as one of the first 13 early college high schools in the State of Indiana. Our highly credentialed teachers are committed to a high-quality learning experience focused on relationships and the individual needs of each student as they choose one of the many career pathways we offer, including business, education, health science, computer science, engineering, liberal studies, and professional certification.
In partnership with Ivy Tech University, Indiana University Kokomo, and Heartland Career Center, Wabash High School provides students with the opportunity to earn transferable college credits and advanced certifications that are equivalent to completing one year of college or technical school. The Indiana College Core (formerly STGEC) allows students to transfer dual credit coursework to any public institution and many private schools as a block of 30 credit hours towards the general education core requirements. This amounts to tens of thousands of dollars of savings to each family. Because of our commitment to ensuring all students reach their full potential, Wabash City Schools provides the PSAT/SAT for all students, leading the state of Indiana in the percentage of high school seniors who participate in the SAT. Your future starts at Wabash City Schools!
